Now quota protesters call ‍‍`complete nationwide shutdown‍‍`

The protestors have announced a ‍‍`complete shutdown‍‍` across the country on Thursday against the brutal attack of the police, BGB, RAB and SWAT on the peaceful movement of students and to protest the murder, demand the trial of the murderers and ensure a terror-free campus while logically reforming of the quota system. 

They have warned to close everything except hospitals and emergency services during this program The agitators said that media vehicles and newspaper transport vehicles will be able to run unhindered under emergency services.

Asif Mahmud, one of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, the platform of the movement demanding quota reforms, announced this program on the social media Facebook around 8pm on Wednesday.

"To guardians, I say that we are your children. Stand by us, protect us. This fight is not of students alone. It‍‍`s a fight for the mass public of this country, irrespective of groups and opinions," he also wrote in the post.

The latest development comes soon after the prime minister‍‍`s address to the nation over the ongoing anti-quota protests.

In her speech, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has announced that the government will form a judicial probe committee to investigate the killings during Tuesday‍‍`s anti-quota movement.
